Paul Webster
Corporate Insolvency, Commercial Litigation | Paul is the senior partner of O’Neal Webster and head of the firm's litigation department. He is one of the most experienced litigation lawyers in the BVI and has appeared as counsel in the High Court, Court of Appeal, and Privy Council (the BVI's highest appellate Court) in many of the jurisdiction’s most notable commercial cases of the past two decades. His standing as an advocate led to a temporary appointment as a Judge of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in 2001. In recognition of his record and reputation as an advocate, Paul was appointed Queen’s Counsel on March 14, 2003. Paul’s practice is concentrated in the areas of corporate insolvency and commercial litigation. He is a past president of the BVI Bar Association and a member of the International Insolvency Institute. Paul has given wide range of service with community and public service organisations, and he presently serves on the BVI Law Reform Commission.
